Judging can mean condemning. And condemning is clearly wrong, because you are assuming the position of God. Therefore this kind of judgment can only be done by God!

But judging can also mean correcting/rebuking/teaching your neighbour which is encouraged by the Bible (as long as you are not a hypocrite about it) . So this kind of judgement God gave us authority and wisdom (brains) to exercise it.

So if it's night-time and I am on a sidewalk and I tell you to get out of the way or else you'll be hit by a truck ,then that's me judging the situation fairly and warning you in love.
But if I'm also on the road and I tell you to get out of the road , then I'm a hypocrite because I still need to get out of danger myself before I can see someone else's danger.

As Jesus Christ said "You hypocrite! First remove the speck in your own eye so that you can see clearly to remove the one in your brother's eye !"

When you're hanging on by a thread, make sure it's the Hem of His Garment.” Do you know how powerful that statement is? Life can be cruel, life can be stressful, life throws us all sorts of curveballs, but if we just hang on to the hem of his garment, everything's gonna be okay.

Do you want the gifts more than you want the gift giver?

BORN INTO A BATTLE
His Word Is Firm in Our Warfare.

One of Scripture’s major truths is that we are in a state of warfare. This isn’t something every Christian is willing to face. I’ve seen a lot of faithful people who are depressed, discouraged and ready to give up for one reason: They believe they shouldn’t have conflicts in life. If we understand that we’re born into a battle, as the Bible shows, we’ll accept that we’re engaged in warfare and that it has a purpose. Mark Twain once said: “Some people are troubled by the things in the Bible they can’t understand. The things that trouble me are the things I can understand.” And dear reader, what is very plain from the Bible is that there are two choices. You can accept Christ as your Saviour or you can reject Christ as your Saviour. God has given everybody free will and you are well within your rights to freely choose either path. As C S Lewis famously said, “There are two kinds of people in the end. Those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done’, and those to whom God says, ‘thy will be done’”.
