Remember that one time almost three years ago when I had a tiny little baby ? In 8 days my baby girl will be THREE, and I'm just not ready 😭

Most of us get so caught up in the beauty of the bride, we often forget to ask about the special things the groom is wearing ! Something as simple as a watch can be worth millions to a groom who received it from a family member.
At our wedding, I gave my husband a small bottle of cologne that his dad used to wear, and cuff links with pictures of his dad and stepdad. Those are little details we don't have pictures of, but simple items we hold so near and dear to our own hearts ❤️

Look at these cuties 😭. Would you ever guess that little miss is upset because her brother didn't want to hold her hand?

This girl right here is a whole vibe, and I love it 😍 the VW bug, the flare jeans, white top, gorgeous girl... I'm not a jealous person but I wish I looked this good in my senior pictures !!

Reminiscing on this mountaintop shoot with & her now fiancé when we froze our heinies completely off. In typical Kaydee fashion, she took me on an "are we there yet?" adventure, but as usual, she was so right about the view ! I remember the golden hue as the sun reflected off the trees, the knee-deep snow, and the frozen fingertips we all had by the end of the trek down. This shoot took place years ago, but I just had to share anyways.

Texas is awfully flat where we are at, and every once in a while I find myself thinking of the mountains I grew up around... I'd settle for just a trip ! Kaydee, maybe we need a 2.0 version ?? Or maybe a Hawaii edition 😍

Do y'all have large family goals ? I definitely do, and after working with this amazing family, I'm assured it's 100% possible !
Growing up, it was just my brother and I, but now that we both are married, our families have expanded ! I love seeing our girls with all their aunts and uncles, and I would LOVE for that family community to continue on for generations.

One of the newest props in the studio ! I really couldn't decide what I liked better - the simplicity of the prop with some vintage lace, or the addition of my favorite florals. Can't wait to get some new babies into the studio and use these gorgeous pieces ❤️

These cute kids will be one of the last to use our F100 as a prop (the way that it is). We've decided to restore this beauty back to her original glory ! I'll forever cherish pictures like these though, and all the wonderful family photos we have with this beautiful patina'd girl.

Weddings are some of my favorite to photograph, and while I LOVE my couples, some of my favorite moments are the in-betweens. Waiting for the bride & groom to make their entrance, kids playing, watching two families blend into one... There's so much magic in the in-between ❤️

2022 was a wild one, and God really used that time to refocus my heart & mind on Him, and also on what His desires are for me.
