Join us for a quick Parent/Student camp meeting this Friday on the Youth Floor! HS will meet at 5:30pm and JH will meet at 6:15pm. Hope to see you then!

Youth will meet in the sanctuary tonight at 6:00 to rehearse with the combined choirs for Sunday’s service. Hope you can make it. We’ll head up to the youth floor around 6:30 and finish up around 7! Looking forward to seeing you all!

Trunk or Treat tonight at the FLC! Come at 5 to help set up. Youth will run their traditional "joke booth" and enjoy being the presence of Christ to our community!

We wrap up our series on Identity in Christ tonight by focusing on our purpose!

Let’s end the school year the right way! On May 24th, we will have a Chaos Night at the Family Life Center from 6-7:30pm. There will be no other Wednesday activities at the church for children or adults, so feel free to join in the fun, parents.

Theme: Halloween in the Summer. Dress up in something and join the party. This is a great time to practice your costumes for Middle School Camp! Block Party themes for this year are here: Neon Prom, Across the Pond (British), Unlikely Heroes and Space Invaders.

We will provide dinner to the students starting at 6pm. If your student plans to join us for Chaos Night, let me know so we can get the correct amount of food. Join in on the Chaos Night fun and sign up for youth camps if you have not already. This will be an awesome night to invite friends to church Make sure to put this one on your calendar because it will be a great night. Let’s celebrate!

We loved getting to celebrate with these High School Seniors yesterday! This group has had many leaders in different areas of the church and we are grateful to be a part of each of your journeys. We are looking forward to all of your next steps!

Chaos Night this Wednesday!

Youth Camp Sign-Up Chaos Night at the Family Life Center from 6-7:30pm! The purpose of the party is to make sure your student has the opportunity to sign-up for both Middle School Camp (Horizon Camps in Brownwood) and High School Camp (Student Life in Estes Park, CO).

Camp is coming very soon, so this will be a fun way for everyone to start thinking towards camp and planning for it! Online sign-ups are already live, so parents can sign their students up at any time. Parents are welcome to come and sign up students in person if they have questions about camp.

We will provide dinner to the students starting at 6pm. Following the style of the Block Parties at Middle School Camp, the theme of the night will be "Across the Pond" (United Kingdom/British themed). Dress up and enjoy the party!

Wednesday Night Bible Study is back this week! Join us on the Youth Floor from 6-7ish pm. For the next few weeks we will be focusing in on the events in the Gospels after Jesus’ Resurrection.

YouthCue 2023 in the books ✅

We had a great time, our youth choir worked really hard, and they sang wonderfully! This was a really fun group! Thank you ATX.

There will be no Wednesday Night Youth Bible Study tonight because of it being Ash Wednesday. We encourage students and their families to attend our Ash Wednesday service, which will start at 6:15pm in the Sanctuary.

Join us for a different type of service and let’s journey through the Lent season together.

Church Dinner will still start at 5:00pm and Chicken Express is on the menu. $5.

We are reminded on Ash Wednesday of our mortality. “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return." While this sounds a bit bleak, don’t lose hope.

We celebrated Christmas together last Wednesday in a big way, Chaos Night style!!

It was a great night filled with Christmas sweaters, costumes, beautiful artistry in music, pizza, and a whole lot of fun. Merry Christmas from FBC Abilene Youth!

Chaos Night: Christmas Edition is this Wednesday, 6-7:30pm at the Family Life Center! We will provide dinner starting at 6.

Come dressed in your favorite Christmas attire, we will have a handful of prizes for the most festive! Expect us to play some games full of Christmas cheer as well 🎄

You really don’t want to miss this one, we hope you choose to celebrate Christmas with us! It will be a time full of Joy!

Disciple Now Weekend is right around the corner! February 10-12. All students 6th-12th are invited and welcomed.

Our theme this year is Simplify. In our world of constant busy schedules, agendas, and excess, have you ever thought about what the Bible says are the essential things our lives need to thrive? How do we "Simplify" our lives to live well? We need a reminder of what we really need in life and luckily for us, God speaks on this!

Disciple Now is an incredibly special weekend for our student ministry. This church loves everything about Disciple Now Weekend and we are thankful for a church who serves our students well! We are already praying for a great weekend of fellowship, worship, and discipleship.
