Beauty! Creativity! Structure! Into The Woods came to an end this weekend with an amazing ceremony of singing and a talk with the artists! A+D was so glad to have had all these amazing artists come together for this show!

Happy Friday, Wildcats! The painting students are about to start their toy paintings! These focus on values, shadows, and blending realistically with all sorts of colors!

Mural painting with Rafael López! Our students had so much fun painting with the community! The murals came out beautifully and what an opportunity to share art!

Historic Twist! Painting students are creating their own versions of the Virgin Mary or also known as Madonna and Child. What outstanding work! You got this, Wildcats!

A+D had such a wonderful chapel today at Jacob’s Dream with the sculptor, Jack Maxwell! The weather was beautiful for admiring and learning in depth about the sculpture.

Found the 2D class jammin out to 80s music! Students are practicing values for their next project! I think this one’s gonna be abstract!

ASID Back To School Bash! These Interior Design students had so much fun with friends and peers during Chapel time. That pizza sure looks good!

Broderick’s Basic drawing class is off to a great start! Students are currently drawing still life’s of numerous shapes! Great work, Wildcats!

Arlene Kasselman is our current Instagram Competition Judge! Arlene used to work in Summer’s position here in A+D! She owns Seven and One Books in downtown and has a BA in Bible and Ministry. Arlene also has an MA in Organizational Development. Be sure to submit your pieces!

What a wonderful workshop instructed by Bonny Leibowitz! These fine art majors had a blast spending time in the painting studio over the weekend. A huge thank you to Bonny!

Thank you so much, Malachi, Elisa, and Broderick for helping move the sculpture downtown! The sculpture is by the infamous James Surls and will remain permanent in Abilene!

What a whimsical and beautiful show displayed in the gallery! Into The Woods was such an enchanted experience like none other. Don’t miss your chance to see it.
