When I have Wi-Fi I'm getting texts and Vocera messages, when I don't have Wi-Fi I might take some time to get back. I bet it's hackers or a solar flare that disrupted the cell towers, but if you need me for work call my office number.
They know how to get a hold of me since I'm clinic this morning and OR this afternoon and tomorrow. Why I still have a landline, but fortunately not on call till Monday.

Happy Doctors Day! I can’t imagine the pressure in the medical field, the people, the gross stuff, the time, dedication, burden, and thankless tasks that most don’t see. Many big “Thank You’s” to the Doctors that take care of us and our families. Y’all ARE heroes ❤️

To celebrate week two of Brain Injury Awareness Month, we will look at a few celebrities that suffered from brain injury.

Did you know that Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States suffered a brain injury? When he was 10 years old, he was kicked in the head by a mule. Reports indicate he suffered from visual impairments, muscle weakness, and depression after this injury. However, he did not let this prevent him from becoming one of the most impactful leaders of the nation.

Those of us with brain injuries are in pretty good company! 😊

My clinic tomorrow will follow AISD if delayed, etc. Be safe! I always see fractures and head bleeds from falls with ice and sleet so be careful. Last year I fell in my own driveway headed into work but fortunately only ripped my scrubs.
