A lot of my work lately has been focused on establishing a feeling of unity between realism or recognizable imagery combined with abstraction or suggestion of objects to create the feeling of a cohesive painting.
I’ve been exploring how everything is connected through space in my paintings. objects and materials are physically moving around endlessly. People and things are manipulated into part of one another’s life experience, either actively or passively, in different settings and environments and for various amounts time. This is all regardless of how small or large the roll of that thing may be, relative to its own constantly changing atmosphere.

Just thought I would share some of my thoughts from my journaling as I work to provide some context.
