We are a happy, busy family of four. Our dream has always been to be as self sufficient as possible.

09/11/2024

We are a family farm. We love all of our goats and treat them well. They are frequently vet checked and maintained daily. We keep our goats reasonably priced because we believe in 4-H and FFA and LOVE seeing the kids at the fair show and be proud of their projects. We also love seeing our goats bringing joy on other farms as milk goats, mommas and pets.

With that being said, we are very selective with who we sell to. Our herd does not go to auctions and we do not sell for meat. We do not have issue with either practice, we simply decided when we started our herd that we did not have that as a goal.

All of our goats are county and state fair show quality and we offer “buy back” if for any reason you are no longer able to keep your goat purchased from us. Matter of fact, we prefer that you sell back to us. We know life happens and we understand if things change. Any of our herd that does not go on to a loving and permanent home will always have a place at Yoakum Farm to call home.

**We also have weathers (male castrated goats) that we do on occasion allow to go to forever homes at no cost. Anyone that takes one of our “boys” must agree to bring them back to our farm if they decide not to keep them FOR ANY reason and that they will not be resold or butchered. They are our babies too and they always have a home on our farm.

☀️Everyone was helping outside over the weekend! It’s never a dull moment around here.

Rocky thinks he’s a dog, (and Ryan’s BFF) our turkeys and geese are best friends and the goats never turn down an opportunity to help clear some brush!
