Our Story
Established in 1976, the Kripalu Yoga and Wellness Center of Northern New York is founded on the belief that all humanity is one family and that the Divine is within each of us. Our Center is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the integration of body, mind, and spirit. We support this philosophy through the teaching and practice of yoga, wellness programs, drumming circles, workshops, and services that nurture personal growth, community, and living in harmony with nature.
Come join us for a revitalizing, relaxing 90-minute yoga class to find your peaceful center within while improving your mobility and strength. Join us for our monthly Drumming and Meditation Circle and the Wellness Connection with certified Energy Practitioners offered by donation. Join us for special workshops and other events that promote personal growth and healing.
We have eight acres of land including a 70-foot labyrinth, a stone circle, a ½ mile walking trail, a children’s garden, a human-sized bird nest, and a tipi. The grounds are open to the public during daylight hours. Come for a stroll and connect with nature.
