Since that only took 15 minutes we played a word game afterward.

The game:
I put a word on the board. For example, mountain.

The object of the game is to rearrange letters in the word, mountain, to get different words.

Sometimes they found 20 to 40 words by rearranging letters.

Keep blinds or curtains closed during the middle of the day.

Water plants early morning or night.

Turn off or unplug unused appliance.

Keep fans moving to circulate air.

Keep doors closed in rooms not being used.

Keep all closet doors and cabinets shut so the a.c. does not cool down everything in there.

Fill tank of gas during dusk or dawn.

Run dish washer completely full.

Weather strips on the bottom of doors.

Caulk the outside of windows.
