LMFTs are the only nationally recognized mental health provider (Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, LMFTs and Social Workers) that can not take Medicare. Please consider sending this email your your house representative asking them to support HR 5531 to address the opioid epidemic and also support allowing LMFTs to become Medicare providers.
