Our hearts are shattered, as we have been preparing to say “I’ll see you later” because Goodbye just hurts too much. Mom is on her journey to peace. She is resting and comfortable, but that doesn’t take away the pain and agony we feel here missing her so much already.

This woman has fought my entire life, and lived so much life! If you’ve ever had the opportunity to meet a stubborn person, I would have challenged you to meet her. She is has instilled that in all of us, a few of us more than others, along with a few lucky ones may have seen the “Wilber Temper.” Anyone who met her though would know in an instant she was a smart ass. At times her smart ass would get in a pickle, but something that always stood out is her love for singing and telling you how good God was.

Hannah flew in all the way from Ohio for her beach session! I had such a great time capturing such a fun time for her senior year!!!

Hey...it's me...I haven't completely disappeared off the face of the earth, just moved 1500 miles south. Because well...Iowa in the winter sucks, and I love the beach. Seems legit enough of a reason to my husband. So that is exactly what we did a few weeks back!

Over the last few months of pure chaos while selling our home in Iowa, and buying a new construction home 1500 miles away, we are in our new home and getting settled. The kids are in school and adjusting to the major changes! Jeremy and I are busy at planning away on how we're going to make the schedule go as smoothly as possible while I'm flying back to Iowa twice in the next month, and will be gone more in the month of October than I will be home with my family. Something our family has became accustomed to over the last year, but with Jeremy traveling back and forth from IA to FL. Now it's my turn, from FL to IA! He's got this though...for sure. ;)

Now that things are settling down, I will be posting again! I have a lot of 2024 Seniors coming your way over the next few days! Even though all galleries have been delivered (If I have received your selections) I wanted to share how amazing of a season you all gave me!!! Don't worry though, I'll be back next summer for a limited time to get the pre-booked Class of 2025 done! I am only taking on 2 more for the Class of 2025 Iowa locations, so if you're interested in booking one, let me know ASAP! Or, you could just come visit me on the beach and we can do something fun and unique not many can say they do back in IA!
