The Hawaii National Guard honored DLS for the support we were able to offer in response to the Maui wildfire last year. In a letter, they wrote, "We are deeply grateful for the outstanding support and generosity your team provided our service members during the 2023 Hawaii wildfires. Your contributions significantly bolstered the spirits and resilience of those on the front lines, providing much-needed assistance as they worked tirelessly to support our community."

This week, we opened our new patient service center (PSC) at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital! This site is open 6 AM to 3 PM on weekdays, with a daily closure for lunch from 11 AM to 12 PM. It is located in the Outpatient Services Building, next to The Clinic at Kapa‘a.

We also had a fun time meeting the Kapa‘a community at the HHSC Kauai Region's first annual Community Health and Wellness Resource Fair on the Mahelona Memorial Hospital campus this past Saturday. We received a warm welcome from everyone, gave out mints and were even interviewed by KONG radio.

Make sure to visit this PSC or one of our other convenient locations across the island the next time you need lab work done.
