Beautiful commission piece by the very talented artist Susan McCarty for my client depicting he and his best hunting dog “Jim Dandy”. My client is just in love with this beautiful homage to bird hunting and his amazing world class hunting dog. I had picked up a few of these celery vases from the late 1800’s not knowing how extraordinary they were. The first three were purchased the first two days I had them. Each one is so unique and special it is really hard to choose a favorite...Yesterday I quickly grabbed the entire lot including goblets as well. Back in the late 1800’s through early 1900’s celery was such an extravagance that it was considered quite a special display to serve celery at you dinner table for guests in these lovely cut glass vases. Today they make lovely flower vases, votive holders and of course I think they look beautiful in my refrigerator with my celery and fennel in them. They are priced between $20 and $45 and make a lovely gift.

HAUS Studio is happy to announce their collaboration with Artisan Market in Aiken. As Designers, Leslie Clark of Artisan Market and Christina Neuhaus of HAUS Studio, are blending their love of things that make your interiors uniquely you. Christina is blending her Interior Design skills, eclectic art, furniture and décor with Artisan Market’s unique custom furnishings, décor and gifts made by local artisans and makers. Leslie carries the full line of Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) transfers, stamps and mounds, non-toxic Earth Safe chalk-type paint, Milk Paint and so many more mediums to make your DIY projects spectacular. Artisan Market has expanded the workshop area and will be kicking off the season with a gorgeous IOD ornament. Leslie and I look forward to seeing you and showing off our new store.
