Our mission is to protect life and property utilizing highly trained volunteers with expertise in firefighting, rescue and accident extrication.
The Tallman Volunteer Fire Department is situated on Route 59 in Tallman, NY. The fire district is located in the Town of Ramapo, and we serve Airmont, Montebello, Portions of Monsey, Suffern and Wesley Hills NY. Tallman FD earlier today responded mutual aid to Monsey Fire Dept as well as numerous other depts to a working structure fire with 20-2000 and man power.

Congratulations to our very own Ex Chief John Hock on being awarded the Smokey Fales award last night for his continued work,dedication and support of the Tallman Fire Dept pre planning program in our district! . John spends countless hours going over commercial properties new and old mapping out key locations such as alarm panel, sprinkler controls, electrical, gas and water supply and hydrant locations as well as means of egress of all commercial properties. His work is vital to the safety of our members as well as mutual aid companies. Well deserved John! Congratulations again!!
