“Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there”.

Down through the years I watched my grandmother‘s prepare many meals which sometimes took much effort. I noticed that never kept them from doing what they loved-Putting smiles on people’s faces through their stomachs. Over time, my grandmother’s health began to decline so I stepped into the kitchen to began offering a helping hand. I didn’t do it because I had interest. I did it because I knew they could use the extra help. While incarcerated for a 3 1/2 year prison sentence, I noticed just how much “Love” could be shown through a meal. The cooking was a fellowship, selfless act & brung many women together from many walks of life. After being released, I began following different YouTube cooking channels & kept Food Network on a 24 hour marathon. In hopes of completing a meal, I not only succeeded but found love & comfort. I’ve made many meals which included many mistakes and honestly some tears. I kept going and had much support on this journey. I am ready to help others find the same love I did. The love for
cooking had always been with me but I wasn’t ready to see. Well, here I am. In Love.
