New Toastmaster Club Being Launched!

Sojourner Truth North Hill Toastmaster Club First Meeting Monday June 24 6:15 pm

At the North Hill Library 183 East Cuyahoga Falls Ave. in the Community Room

Toastmasters is a nonprofit educational organization celebrating its 100th anniversary. Open to anyone 18 years and older, participation helps members build confidence and learn public speaking skills and leadership skills. through a worldwide network of clubs. Founded in 1924, the organization celebrates its 100th anniversary with approximately 270,000 members in more than 14,200 clubs in 148 countries. www.toastmasters.org. Members learn skills and experience growth in a supportive environment, The club will be sponsored by the North Hill Community Development Corporation, https://northhillcdc.org/ The club will model the strong attributes of Sojourner Truth for her communication and leadership as well as North Hill a highly diverse community designated as an International City of Peace encouraging peace, friendship, community, connection and communication,

The meeting will offer a portrayal of the legendary Sojourner Truth as well as a short Toastmaster style program. The club is planned to be a morning club--a great way to start your day! Meeting on Tuesdays 7:15 am to 8:30 am starting on Tuesday July 2 at the Maker House 762 Elma Ave 44310.
