Congratulations to Dr. Edward Esber on his retirement! Dr. Edward J. Esber joined Akron Digestive Disease Consultants, Inc. in 1995 and served as the President of the practice from 2013-2023. Although he has retired from seeing patients in the office as of December 2023, Dr. Esber continues to perform endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy and upper endoscopy) at the Digestive Health Center at White Pond.

During the 29 years that Dr. Esber was part of Akron Digestive Disease Consultants, Inc., he was instrumental in the growth of the practice, recruitment of new physicians and providers, and the move from the Akron City Hospital campus to the current White Pond Drive location. He also helped to establish the Digestive Health Center and its endoscopy suites.

Akron Digestive Disease Consultants, Inc. is most grateful to Dr. Esber for his leadership and contributions to the practice, over the past three decades.
