I’ve not had the opportunity to do photography lately so here is a photo I’ve not posted yet -

I believe this is an Eastern Phoebe!

Lucifer Falls in Ithaca. I cannot get over how breathtaking this was.

Got to see some incredible waterfalls yesterday. Will share the photos throughout the week.

Another day another Bald Eagle. Slowly getting all the captures posted of my lengthy birding trip recently.

This one was hunting over Lake Ontario!

A Horned Lark sitting among the snow. This little bird was found in a flock next to a quiet road.

I’ve been on this journey with photography for a few years now, and I finally had the opportunity to capture images of an Adult Bald Eagle at a much closer distance. I was visiting Lake Ontario and saw this bird perched. After a few moments, it took off and flew around the waters edge, possibly hunting. I cannot begin to describe the joy and excitement I had watching this apex predator!! Here is one of the shots ❤️

A massive flock of Snow Geese landing in a field. There were two groups and we saw them in the sky! Thankfully after driving around a bit we managed to find their landing zone. Watching this was incredible and as soon as they were in the field you could barely see them.

A Red Tailed Hawk quietly perched among the falling snow.

Young eagle landing on a branch. Based on plumage, I’d say this one may be between 1-2 years old. The first year of life for an eagle is one of the most difficult and many may not make it to adulthood. It was lovely seeing this one thriving thus far and successfully hunting.

Goal achieved!!! First owl I have ever seen in its natural habitat. Easter Screech-Owl! Happy birthday to me ❤️

A lovely deer who crossed paths with me. It was a peaceful moment when we both watched eachother unsure of who would move first. She carefully continued along her way ❤️

Thankfully patience paid off as I watched this squirrel literally wringing itself collecting this material. Eventually it got up and adjusted the materials.

Eastern Bluebird ❤️💙 Got to do a small bit of photography at my work which was absolutely delightful.

Had a wonderful stay at !!! Short walk from the falls and they had great recommendations on places to eat. I will definitely return here again ❤️ stay tuned for photos of the falls! Will be editing them tonight.
