During this time of year we want you to set back and enjoy what this season is truly about and that is the birth of our Lord and Savior. Below is a list of activities for the month so you don't miss anything.

On Friday, December 8th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., we will be showing the movie “Jesus Revolution.” The movie tells the true story of how a young Greg Laurie comes to Christ when he meets a street preacher by the name of Lonnie Frisbee and Chuck Smith, a pastor who throws open the doors of his languishing church to a stream of wandering young people in the early ’70s. What unfolded became one of the greatest spiritual awakenings in American History, a movement that changed the world. Immediately following the movie, we will have a brief question-and-answer period. This is a movie you do not want to miss

On Saturday, December 9th from 4 – 7 p.m. our youth 3rd – 12th grades will go caroling and then return to the church for a Christmas Party.

On December 10th there will be a short Board Meeting after the Morning Worship Service

On Saturday, December 16th at 5:00 p.m., we will have our Christmas Drama entitled "Casting Call." You won't want to miss this humorous, insightful, and scriptural play where members try out for their Live Nativity roles. Jonathan and Tara Martens are directing the play

On Sunday, December 17th, we will be holding our annual election of the Church Board.

On Monday, December 18th, the Senior Group will head to The Barn restaurant in Smithville, OH for their Christmas Luncheon. We will meet at the church at 10:45 a.m. and depart at 11:00 a.m. This is open to anyone aged 50 and over. If you would like to attend, please sign up at the Activity Table.

There will be a Christmas Candlelight Service on Wednesday, Dec. 20th at 6:30 p.m.

We will have one combined Service on Sunday, December 24th at 10:45 a.m. There will be no Sunday School.

Great day, great turn out for our 3rd annual Trunk or Treat, thanks to everyone who came out and supported the AWANA Ministry and Thanks to Springfield Police Department for officer Lawrence for coming out also.

Just wanted to give you a friendly reminder that our awesome third annual Trunk or Treat event is happening tomorrow from 3:00 to 5:00. It's going to be so much fun, and the weather looks like it's going to hold up perfectly for us. Woohoo!
I'm thrilled to let you know that the Springfield Police Department has advertised our event on their page, and as of this morning, we've already received six shares. That's amazing! So, don't forget to bring lots of extra candy with you.
And of course, we'll be having our super fun contest for the best trunk design. There'll be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, so make sure to come prepared with your best and most creative trunk designs.

Prepare your youngsters for a wonderful evening of nature and fun! Join us on October 21st, between 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM, as we embark on an adventure at the F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm. Please note that this event is exclusively designed for children in grades 3 through 12. Any children below 3rd grade must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

During his sermon, he will delve into essential questions, such as the when does life begin, what does the Bible say about abortion, Is there a time when abortion is ever justifiable, and whether abortion constitutes a sin, among other critical aspects.
This is an important message especially in light of a proposed amendment to the Ohio Constitution known as Issue 1, slated to appear on your ballot on November 7, 2023. Should this amendment be approved, it will grant every individual, including minors, the right to determine and execute their own reproductive choices. Additionally, it will nullify any existing Ohio regulations safeguarding the unborn, while also forbidding state interference in abortion decisions. This could potentially result in a surge of abortions, impacting the lives of many more children.

As Christians, it is imperative that we comprehend the biblical perspectives on this pivotal issue before exercising our right to vote.
