Client Profile – Kim Stenger

Kim has been a client of Miller’s since the early 2000s. She is 45 years young and has lived in the Cleveland area for most of her life. Kim has a rare neurological condition, but has turned that experience into compassion and the desire to help others – in particular, improving the lives of people with disabilities. She went to law school at Case Western Reserve University, and works as a legal researcher at the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Laketran, the Lake County public transportation service.

In her free time, Kim is a big Cleveland sports fan, particularly when it comes to baseball and her beloved Guardians. She also enjoys spending time with her family, watching TV, and playing word games on her iPad.

Kim has used a power wheelchair since she was 9 years old, and says “I can’t image my life without it! My wheelchair lets me access the world in a way that would never be possible otherwise. It gives me independence both around my home and in my community. That means I can stroll my neighborhood, work, shop, attend appointments, visit friends – in other words, live a busy and active life - without having to rely on others for my mobility.”

Meet our hardworking for May: Jess Crabtree! A valued member of Miller’s Claims & Billing department since 2007, Jess loves the variety and challenges her role as a Biller brings. She is the Team Lead for our Commercial and Managed Care billing team. Jess is often our “go to” for policy and modifier related information, and also assists in training new billing staff. What makes Miller's special for her? Our small-town business feel mixed with a big heart, and a strong community of teammates that have become her second family.
