Been breeding for 10 years today and I still get the same excitement I always have every time I’m dealing with my dogs. Super blessed and I appreciate everybody who ever supported me/ helped me along the way. It has been a lot of learning and a lot of trial and error as I grew but the the knowledge I gained is unmatched! I wake up every day and I’m grateful for what I do and the best part about everything is completing homes with the best puppies in the world! I’ve had a long Journey and it doesn’t stop here!

December graduate Allyson Strickland completed 788 pro bono hours during her time in law school and was one of the 2024 awardees of the Perantinides & Nolan Pro Bono Award. She volunteered with various non-profit organizations in the Akron community, primarily The Remedy Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated-Zeta Theta Omega chapter. Allyson was also a member of the Black Law Student Association and a Social Justice Fellow. As a law student she received a fellowship with Minority Corporate Counsel; was selected as a 30 for the Future recipient from the Greater Akron Chamber (2023); and received the Community Service Award from her sorority (2020). She will always remember her final exams in 2021, “During the year of 2021, most classes were still taking place online-including testing. At that time, I was also 8 months pregnant and about to move into a new house. My last exam for that semester was the first week in May 2021, the second week in May 2021 we received the keys to our new house and the third week in May (really 5 days after receiving the keys to the house) I had my son.” She plans to continue to give back to the community and advocate for underrepresented community members as she prepares for the bar exam.
