You will see familiar faces at both gate entrances to pass out tickets and name tags for the patients.

On your ticket, there is a “Perfect Game” loaded on with a value of $6. When you go to the concession stands, make sure to tell them you have the “Perfect Game” loaded on your ticket to redeem.

Disney highlights the importance of inclusivity of individuals with clefts!

A new Disney Junior episode is now live, and the main character has a cleft! A cleft hood that is… Disney Junior character Castor is the newest member of Firebuds, and in the most recent episode, “Cleft Hood,” we learn more about his story.

The episode was originally shared with ACPA back in 2020, to ensure accuracy and offer feedback to the producers. The episode’s writer, Jeremy Shipp, was influenced by his son Henry, who was born with cleft lip and palate. Henry voices the character of Castor in the show itself! It is THAT time! Gear up for the Flying Horse Farms camp! This years camp for Craniofacial patients will be held on July 22nd to July 27th! Applications are due March 3rd.

The Akron Craniofacial Center will honor the legacy of Lois Wootton, our former Nurse Program Coordinator by naming the Conference Room, The Lois J. Wootton Conference Room. She was a nurse for 36 years and dedicated her time to improving the lives of the children and of her coworkers. She was the Nurse Program Coordinator from 2019-2022. Her impact will continue throughout the years ❤️
