I’m thankful to be part of the esteemed men and women of Summit County who are dedicated to serving our community with their exceptional talents. I feel deeply humbled and honored to receive this recognition. Many thanks to Ace Epps for his consideration and for consistently recognizing my abilities. Despite the fatigue from juggling numerous programs and classes, it’s the sense of purpose, passion, connections with people, and the encouragement of others that motivates me to keep moving forward. 🙌🏾❤️🥰

Dreaming of Peanut Butter? Chef Danny has the perfect recipe for you. Take one bite and you will go NUTS!🥜

Enjoy the Recipe:

INGREDIENTS

- 2-3 Bananas
-1/4 Cup of Milk (room temp)
-1/4 Creamy Peanut Butter
-3/4 Cup of Powder Sugar
-1 cup of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
-Butter

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a small bowl, whisk peanut butter, milk and powder sugar until well blended and smooth. Take a plate and add frosting in a circular motion and set aside.
2. Set a skillet to medium heat and add butter until melted. Slice each banana loaf 1-1.5 inches thick. Place in buttered skillet and brown both sides. Place on plate.
3. Using the same skillet, cut 1 banana in half and half again and place in skillet. Brown on both sides and place on bread. Drizzle more frosting and garnish with chocolate chips. Serve immediately.

It’s an honor to be selected as Honorary Chair for the 15th annual ATHENA women’s leadership Day Luncheon. We had so many distinguished women in the building and I couldn’t contain my excitement. I’m grateful for the opportunity to LEAD and be a LEADER in my community!

Pudding Please?

Yesterday at RICH Kids Summer Program the children made Oreo Pudding using 3 ingredients? Can you guess what they are?(Hint: it’s not milk 🐄)! The children also made a fun art craft!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, chef Kimmie Willis-Davenport had to leave our upcoming fundraiser/ competition. Fortunately enough, we were able to secure another chef!

⭐Meet Dannika Stevenson!⭐

Dannika Stevenson, aka "Chef Danni," is an Akron native, CEO & Owner of sip.savor.soul and the new SipSavorSoul Kitchen, Akron's first community Cooking School.

Her culinary career began at age 4, cooking and baking alongside her Great-Grandmother, Pearl. For the past 20 years, she has worked in various culinary roles such as prep cook, beverage and banquet server, chef assistant, and culinary instructor. She is an outstanding culinary professional with extensive experience in cooking & nutrition education, and public health. She is also a certified wine educator with the American Wine School.

Dannika has conducted over 350 cooking classes and demonstrations and has worked with organizations such as SouthStreet Ministries, Let's Grow Akron, Akron Public Schools, Portage Path Behavioral Health, Akron Public Library, ASCA, WIC/Summit County Health Dept, Cleveland Clinic, Summa Health, Lebron James Family Foundation and many more. She has appeared on New Day Fox 8 Cleveland, Taste of Home Magazine, Voyage OH Magazine, Akron Life Magazine, Cleveland Plain Dealer, and many more. Her mission is to fight food insecurity and hunger and increase health and well-being for children and families throughout all communities. She opened SipSavorSoul Kitchen, Akron's First Community Cooking School, in September 2022 and will open a second location at House330 Summer of 2023. Dannika is a licensed foster parent and loves caring for children and her chihuahua, Monte. She enjoys food photography, traveling, and watching classic game shows.

We are so excited to sample Chef Danni's delicious food. 😋🍴
