When determining the perfect paint color for a customer, there are lots of questions that I ask!

With this specific client, we needed a paint color for her daughter’s bathroom. All the tile and cabinetry were neutral, so, naturally, she wanted to give the room a punch with the paint color. We landed on pink 🎀

There is something refreshing, sweet, and romantic about the color pink 🌸

There are a few rules, however, when picking the correct pink:
+Consider the mood of the room. What are you trying to say/get across while in the room?
+What color is the undertone of the pink you are looking at? My favorite undertone is a subtle peach. When choosing a pink with peach undertones, it’s less “baby girl” and more “sophisticated” and “grown up.”
+If your walls are pink, let that be the statement piece of the room. The walls already have enough personality! There is no need in adding a lot more pink to the room.

And just like french fries go great with ketchup and butter goes with popcorn, GOLD goes with PINK 😄

+pick paint swatches for multiple clients
+choose shower floor for a current project
+shop decor for a kitchen that we’re almost done with

Here’s what working with me looks like:

1. We chat. Get to know each other. I find out what is YOUR design style. During this phase, I encourage my clients to peruse through Pinterest, Google, magazines, and HGTV to help determine and decide which design style meets their interest.

2. Determine a Budget. This is pretty self-explanatory but we need to be on the same page knowing how much you plan to spend.

3. Let the creativity reign! Whatever brings you joy.

4. It’s a process. It is okay if your home/project is a process. There is no need to break the bank, your back, or even your mental wellness to get a project done. It takes time and patience. In the end it will all be worth it.
