Salon Ludovici & boutique

This is a bittersweet post. As most of you know, I have gone back to school to become an RN. I have been balancing work and school for over six months now and it has become extremely challenging. I am excited for my new chapter, but also very sad not to see all the beautiful faces coming through my door. It’s hard to believe that it’s been eight years on Main Street in Alachua and some of you have been with me long before this salon. I can remember like yesterday, my husband, my boys, my brother, Donnie, and my beautiful mother, Rita, renovating the place. We all worked so hard to get the salon ready. Without them, I couldn’t have done it. They believed in me and helped my dream come true of owning my own salon, but now at this time in my life, my heart is being called to do something different. I started feeling my heart being tugged at during Covid lockdown’s. Covid changed a lot of things for a lot of people. For me it took my mother and things just have not been the same since her passing, it has been so difficult for me over the past two years to know that I’ll never see her walk through the doors of the salon that she helped me create. As many of you know who have lost a parent, and how devastating that is, it changes who you are to your core. So many of you were there for me during that time and I cannot begin to tell you how much that meant to me, you have become an extended family.
But again, my heart has really been drawn back to the healthcare field, and I’m excited and a little scared if I am honest, but I really felt led to do this. Please pray for me on my new journey and please stay in touch. I would love it if you would share your favorite memory at Salon Ludovici.
I have so many of my own that I will cherish forever, but I would love to hear, any of your favorite times. Lots of laughter, tears, hugs, fun times and prayers happened inside the shop. I love you all. It has been an honor to know each and everyone of you. May God bless and keep you. 💓
