Burgundar, a unique venue for live-action role-play (LARP) enthusiasts, was founded on principles of inclusiveness, respect and empowerment. It has become a central hub for the LARP community, fostering a strong bond that has led to incredible growth.
However, it’s the support from SCORE mentors that has truly set them apart. With help from SCORE, Burgundar’s Board of Directors secured a 10-year property lease, enhanced safety measures and evolved into a cohesive, effective team. These achievements culminated in Burgundar receiving the Successful Innovative Business award at SCORE Maine’s 2024 Success Awards.
