I have just received an email from the Palmer Chamber of Commerce stating that they will be canceling Friday Fling this friday, June 28th, and July 5th.
I am saddened by this news.
You can still find me painting this Saturday and Sunday at Highland Games on the Fairgrounds and Girdwood Forest Fair in my usual spots July 5-7th.
I am unsure if the Friday fling will proceed at this point. The vendors are still waiting for more information.

Its here! My biggest artistic achievment! I am the Artist! I created the Poster, Logo and 3 accent peices for this years state fair!
This has been a long 9 month journey. The most love I have ever put into a peice.
I had the pleasure to collaborate with to create the sun portion of the logo as a Sugpiaq style Giinaruaq (mask).
I am so immensely grateful for all of the love and support. Mk and Sea at the Alaska state fair for believing in my vision and putting me in contact with Courtney to make this art come full circle with Alaska Indegenous art, collaboration, and representation.
I wanted this opportunity to not just be about making something pretty to look at, but to stand for something. Acknowledging and honoring the stewardship of all Alaskan tribes, spreading the wealth and creating more opportunities for Alaska Native's artwork and voices.

So happy to be vending the Girdwood Forest Fair! My first vending year was 8 years ago! Crazy how time flys. I am so greatful to have seen the many children of Girdwood grow up and am so excited to see all of you tomorrow 💗
