🌟 DEFENSE WIN! Attorney Jon Hansen secured a defense win for MCLC’s retail client who was sued in a case after plaintiff tripped and fell on our client’s property. Jon proved that while an expert can give an opinion about industry standards, he or she cannot change the facts, in this case that store displays which are open and obvious are not considered inherently dangerous and cannot create liability on a store owner. Great result, Jon!

The impact of this decision has far-reaching and lost-lasting implications for every resident of the town (and the taxing authorities that relied on the roll to issue tax bills).

DEFENSE WIN! After years of substantial and , Adam Cooper and Mackenzie Kesterke, Esq. secured a defense win with a successful summary judgment motion on behalf of their clients, an oncologist and medical center, following the death of a patient from metastatic bladder cancer. UPDATE: Today, the MTA announced it is indefinitely delaying the start of Congestion Pricing in NYC. The program was set to begin 6/30/24.

Trucking Association of New York’s lawsuit will continue to move forward as a delay of the program does not address the lawsuit’s overall concerns.
