Darden’s Cozy Coop
We provide excellent eating eggs, hatching eggs, and beautiful chicks and pheasants.
Made the sad decision to stop breeding pure ayam cemanis and to start focusing on some neat fibro chickens instead! Our little zombies sure are feathering out quick and are quite the site😍 anticipating some unique but proficient egg layers with these mixes!
Teaching baby how to bathe😍
Our AC girls make the best mommas😍
Pulled the crazy babies out last night😍 first time getting this many pure cemanis to hatch at once!
Haven’t updated lately, and this isn’t farm related but crocheted me the most adorable tops!😍

I had no idea this would happen😱😱😱
Solid fibro white leghorn!
I am obsessed with these fluffy cheeks😍😍
4 precious golden pheasant babies available in Albany! Moms were red and yellow goldens and dads were red goldens!
First set of pheasants are hatching out😍
*Edit to add that these babies are the hardest birds I’ve hatched out. As you can see, the front one has something wrong with its foot, another one has a broken toe, and the last one to hatch has issues with leg joints. Followed the instructions to a T that I found online and they still just hatched out horribly 😭 not done yet, but I’m losing hope quickly.
Our first golden pheasant egg!!!! Size comparison next to a large white chicken egg😍
Their mating dance never gets old😍
Our EE girl finally started back up again😍 so excited for some future EE/ayam cemani cross babies that’ll lay gorgeous eggs!
I’ve got lots of babies available since prior plans fell through!
The first set hatched 3/16. I have the suspected roos banded so all of the babies that are not banded, I’m about 90% sure they’re Pullets! They’re goldlaced Wyandotte, sapphire gem, and Bovan brown crossed with EE/Wyandotte roo. 8 per suspected Pullets
My second set was hatched 3/28
3 white leghorns (1 looks roo)
6 total goldlaced Wyandottes-all crossed with an ayam cemani and 4 of them are fibros!
I also have a 2 week old sapphire gem/ayam cemani roo up for grabs!
15 babies new babies😍 4 of my very first fibro goldlaced Wyandottes (green bands). 2 of them have rose combs and the other 2 have straight combs! Plus 2 colored goldlaced Wyandottes, 3 white leghorns, and 4 pure ayam cemanis! So excited for these babies😍
Lots of adorable little fluffy faces hatched out including some of our first pure ayam cemanis!😍
