As we get into the hotter weather we expect more summer veggies! Corn still has about 3 more weeks before it’s ready and peppers are coming in slowly but surely! Lots to expect within the next few weeks/month 😎

A good day to check the potatoes! Our Nicola potatoes will be available at both our farmers markets in Portland and Albany! Freshly dug the night before markets! Make sure you swing by on Saturday at PSU farmers market 8:30am-2pm or Albany farmers market 9am-1pm and grab some before they’re gone.
These potatoes are nice and soft with a buttery slightly sweet taste to them! Great for mashed potatoes, soup, fried with some eggs and salsa!

We are super excited to let you know we will be at PSU farmers market on March 2nd! We hope that this year we will extend our season all the way to December ☺️☺️
During the month of March we will be located in front of our friends at Winter Farms and to the side of the PSU informational booth!
We have missed you all so much and we are ready to bring you some fresh veggies we grew with lots of care and love.

This year was filled with so much joy, hard work, dedication and commitment. We are beyond blessed to have such an amazing and supportive community.

We are coming to an end on our farmers market. We have next Saturday the 18th at PSU and Wednesday the 22nd for our harvest market at Shemanski Park.
It has been a great season!!! But it’s time to let our soils rest for a little as well as letting ourselves rest to bring on a better season for 2024!

What’s your favorite way to cook and eat squash??

🌶️ : it’s flavor is fruity, floral, sweet, crunchy, and bursting with pungency.
🌶️ : they can be stewed, fried, pickled and fermented, or eaten raw!!
🌶️ : dehydrate them and make a chili powder!
🌶️ : add some of these to your vodka or tequila to give it some spice 😉
Chile Tusta aka chile nance!
🌶️ : a small spicy pepper from Oaxaca
🌶️ : color ranges from white to green, yellow, purple, and red
🌶️ : mostly used to make salsas but Can be eaten raw.
🌶️: 2-3 of these small peppers are enough to make a good spicy salsa!
