What is sprint day?! It’s the same movements were used to…. Just with greater intensity. We do “sprint day” once a week, and it’s a “for time” template. 😈

Curious how our workouts differ from many other gyms out there?
Here are a few ways!
✅ structured, quick, effective warmups. If you’re not activating and warming up well, you’re not maximizing your workouts, while increasing likelihood of injury. 💪🏻
✅ intentional, unique programming. Workouts that are thought out, and made to increase strength AND endurance.💪🏻💪🏻
✅ interval cardio. You’ll never spend 20 minutes doing boring cardio. Our cardio equipment (runners, bikes, rowers and ski-ergs) is used to increase intensity and overall capacity. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
✅ smaller classes. We’re not a big box gym. Our smaller class sizes (max 21/class) enable coaches to COACH, and athletes to receive more individualized attention. 🙂

Our values, from the beginning, have been to create an inclusive space that is safe and welcoming to ALL people, especially those that may feel and fear they don’t belong in other spaces; you belong here.

Summer 2022 and Pride 2022 are all about Infiltrating with Love and disrupting hate. At Sweat Spot, we are supporting .fdn in removing barriers that the LGBTQ+ community faces when accessing fitness, health and wellness programs.
We will be FUNDRAISING, and hosting a COMMUNITY WOD on 6/26 @ 9am on the lawn right outside our space in Stuyvesant Plaza! ALL are welcome to join.☺️

Saturday morning vibes were 🔥 today!!!! Both morning classes brought their A-game, and it showed!
We love the energy that our community brings • POSITIVE • HARDWORKING • UPLIFTING • EMPOWERING… all of the things we all need more of in our lives… AM I RIGHT?! 🙌🏽
We have 2 classes tomorrow (Sunday morning) at 8:30 and 9:30am, and 2 classes on Monday (Memorial Day) at 6:15 and 8:30am!

We say, 🤬 that. SWEAT TO BE STRONG. Sweat to prove to yourself that you can do hard things. Sweat to be more able, more formidable, harder to get knocked down when life gets tough.
We say, don’t sweat to lose, • SWEAT TO GAIN • what makes you a better, stronger human being. When we show up hyper focused on what we want to get rid of, our attention and awareness isn’t on growing and developing.
In this space, we’ll always encourage you to think of, and set goals toward, what you want to become MORE of. And we’ll be here walking beside you throughout the whole journey. ☺️💪🏻
