We will be closed Monday, January 15th to keep our employees safe. Outside conditions are too risky for many to drive to work as well as handling product at jobsites.

We will be closing at 3:30 today to get started celebrating the holiday. We will be closed on Monday too, back open Tuesday @ 7:30am.

Having the shop windows painted at Christmas time is a tradition our Dad started long ago and one we are committed to continuing. When we found out we’d be in need of a new artist, Geoff reached out to WAHS’ art department. Babette Grunwald suggested two students who would be interested and we couldn’t be more pleased with their efforts! We are so excited to find a way to support local youth doing something they love.

To our Davis Glass family, friends and customers,

It is with great sadness to announce that Ken Davis has passed away.

1975 seems like just yesterday when he came to town and began a career doing something that he truly enjoyed. He was so proud to work in a community that supported him and helped him follow his dream of owning/operating a wonderful family business. Albany has been a fantastic community to raise children and grow with changing times.

From the early days of my childhood to as most recent as earlier this week, we discussed business, our customers and the direction of our company. Joining the team fulltime in 1995, I cannot explain in words what my dad has taught me over the years. I can tell you the one thing that has stuck with me and I will never forget: “The only difference between an obstacle and an opportunity is one’s attitude towards it.”

On behalf of my father Ken, my mother Mary Jeanne, my sister Jenny, and I, we want to say thank you. Thank you to our community. Thank you to our employees, past and present. Thank you to our loyal following of customers whom have allowed us to thrive over the last 45 years. Please feel free to swing by the store or call to say hi. -Geoff

Davis Glass switched gears for a couple days to mass-produce “sneezeguards” for local retail businesses. These are
free-standing shields for in between cashiers and customers to limit exposure.

We are fortunate to be able to help our community proactively implement safety protocols.
