Happy Juneteenth everyone!
We are currently seeking a volunteer to represent NYSNLA on the NY Farm Viability Institute Board. This is a great way to give back to both the association and our profession! NYFVI is a nonprofit grantmaking organization that runs a competitive grant program seeking to fund agricultural research and education projects that will create and share knowledge to improve the economic viability of New York’s farmers.
As NYSNLA is a founding member of NFFVI, we appoint a representative to the NYFVI Board of Directors. Currently, NYSNLA Past President and PlantCNY Member Dave Ryan of Rare Earth Nursery in Cazenovia, has been proudly serving as the NYSNLA representative and has even been elected Chair of the Institute. We are grateful for Dave’s time and faithful service. It is now time for someone else to step forward to serve as the NYSNLA representative. Learn more by going to: https://bit.ly/3VN5gKv
