What an incredible First Sunday Worship Service! 🌟 It was filled with fellowship, praise, and an abundance of joy! Pastor Johnson moved us all with his powerful rendition of “Lord, I Need Thee.”

We also had the privilege of celebrating a baby dedication and witnessing seven individuals take the next step in their faith journey through baptism.

We’re looking forward to the 55th Annual Tri-Cities Revival this week! There will be lectures nightly beginning at 6pm and revival begins at 7pm. Tuesday is Men’s Night, Wednesday is Women’s Night and Thursday is Youth & Young Adult Night which begins at 4pm for young people!

🎒 Annual Back to School Bash was a Success! 🎒

Yesterday, Metropolitan, along with Rev. Elgin Taylor Sr. and the Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, MVP Healthcare, and Brown & Weinraub Associates LLC, had the honor of distributing 800 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in our community!

It was a fantastic afternoon full of fun, with delicious food, free haircuts, face painting, music and a bounce house. Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success. Here’s to a great school year ahead! 📚✏️
