Today is the day. Albert Lea Hockey Association

PLEASE VOTE APRIL 9! The City of Albert Lea is asking voters for $9.8 million in funding to improve the Aquatic Center, Splash Pad, City Arena, and Marion Ross Theater. The projects include water-heating and electrical equipment to keep the pool open. The city would also like to remodel the pool entrance and expand the concessions area. Near the Splash Pad, the city would like to build public restrooms for all of downtown. Arena projects include new equipment to keep the second sheet of ice open and expand the lobby. HOCKEY DAY! The City Arena will host Albert Lea’s annual Hockey Day on Saturday, Jan. 27. Catch all the action at 701 Lake Chapeau Drive! More than 9,000 people visited the Arena around the Hockey Day weekend last year. Be sure to watch Albert Lea boys hockey at 12:45 p.m. and girls hockey at 4:45 p.m. Saturday. Go Tigers!

We are on the way back home and the clinic will be open Wednesday morning. While I will miss the Irish golf; driving on roads wider than the Blazing Star bike path will be wonderful.

I will be out of the office June 21-27th as I head to the SW coast of Ireland to play golf. Heidi and Bri will be available for phone calls and appointment scheduling.

Wynn snagged a “guitar” fish this morning. Back in the office Monday.
