Dive in Movies has come to an end for the season! We ended with a bang! Last night was the first ever Dive-In Film Fiesta, we showed 17 New Mexico local shorts poolside! We want to take a quick second to thank all of the that were apart of this process, the local community for all your support this season, for allowing us to use y’all’s beautiful heated pool thank you to the amazing for trusting us and allowing us to experiment, for the dope photos and lights, and of course for diving into this unpredictable endeavor with us and having a blast along the way!

Thank you a million times over again to each and every one of you! Cheers to making more stuff happen and supporting local film in the very near future! More awesome 📸 of last night coming soon!

We were staying at a haunted hotel in Gallup a while back for work and we were watching some ghost hunter show and were inspired to make a parody off of it using Studio 519. So we did! (Also, the studio is a little haunted actually 😉)

Pic 2: Now onto editing ‘Burque Bubble Hockey’! Using the Bubble hockey table Keith won on Price is right, we decided to make a show that’s a hybrid of ‘American Gladiators’ and bubble hockey!

We went to the Hometown Media Awards last night and received the award for “Best Overall Excellence in Public Access” in the country!

It was an honor to come out to Cali and represent Albuquerque! The feedback was awesome and so many people were glad to hear that we are back on the national stage! The last time Albuquerque won this award was in 1992 then won last year best overall excellence in education and now us!

Shoutout to and for believing in and trusting us to lead this endeavor! Also shoutout to each and every , , , , and other for allowing us to share your stories! And this is just year 1 baby!!!!

What a week! Well, actually, what a month! We’ve been non stop this month. Between, the channel, filming 2 big projects, 2 networking events, and of course our 1 and a half year old, and we are about to leave to CA for the national public access awards and conference where we will also be getting the ‘Best Overall Excellence’ in the country for . It’s been a crazy month to say the least!

But not too crazy that we didn’t take some BTS for a training video we filmed for the city!
This was such a fun project to work on! The crossing guards were super fun to work with! We did their new training video for the upcoming year and we got a little silly with it! Thank you to them for being so open with our ideas!
This project was crazy because we only had 2 weeks of pre-pro and to write a 15 page script AND to film! Thank you to our amazing crew who went above and beyond on this one! Dream team for sure!

Albuquerque’s Local & Original Channel 26 just won the Hometown Media Award for ‘Best Overall Excellence in Public Access’ IN THE COUNTRY!

The Hometown Media Awards are the National Awards given out to honor organizations that promote community media and local cable programs that are distributed on their local Public, Educational and Government (PEG) access channels.

Each year, nearly one thousand entries are submitted. Awards are presented to the most creative programs that address community needs, develop diverse community involvement, challenge conventional commercial television formats and move viewers to experience television in a different way.

We will be receiving the award next month at the Alliance for Community Media annual national conference in San Jose, CA!

We want to take a second to thank each and every one of you that helped contribute to this channel over the last year! This wasn’t just us, this took a community! Shoutout to our team Keziah and Noah, to all of the filmmakers, poets, artists, businesses, friends, family, and the entire City of Albuquerque! Without any of you none of this is possible! We got a chance to be apart of this! Shoutout to Boys and girls Club of New Mexico and Warehouse 505 for making it happen and to all the artists making a difference for the youth in our community!!!

🎨We are excited to invite our Community Partners to celebrate one of the Boys & Girls Clubs FUEL Morning Program projects!

Our Program Director, Mercedez Holtry has created a beautiful Mural Arts program in partnership with Warehouse 505. 🌈 Boys & Girls Clubs Members at 5 of our 24 FUEL locations are currently working on New Mexico PRIDE Murals that will grace their school campuses for years to come! ✨

💙The Boys & Girls Club FUEL program has provided a safe place for approximately 800 Middle School Students daily from 7:00am – 9:15am as the APS bell schedule changed for the 2023-2024 school year. Students have a dedicated space to hang out before school when parents need to get to work. Our clubs are staffed with skilled mentors that organize a variety of activities for Boys & Girls Club members to participate in while preparing for a day of learning. 🌟
