I was tasked to find a baby squatch and I'm not going to rest until I do.
More evidence!
I know I'm close. Berry eater with a penchant for views.
Yes, it's right on the trail but look at the view!
It's a great squatch squat spot!
First person in the shop that can tell me where the squatch squat spot is gets a FREE animal water bottle cage by !
First time to 12,000 feet this year!
Didn't notice the air being thinner,

A good day to see tubular life forms in Otero canyon.
Cute little guy sunbathing on the trail. About 2 feet long. Rattle was inch and a half.
Rode past him and barely saw him. Luckily I was climbing slow.
Skootched him off the trail and rode away.
Going up Gnar I spotted a fatipillar.
Was sent on a mission.
A mission to find a baby 'squatch.
Grindstone Lake sounds scary.
Could be a good place to find a beast of epically tiny proportions.
Trail didn't disappoint.
First, I came across something.
Then I found bones and more bones.
Then I found something else.
Some of the bones were laid out in a glyph.
But did I find what I set out in search of?
Some things just need to remain a secret.
For now, anyway.

Really great trails. Water tower side is like Glorietta
And the geri side is like Tijeras (tunnel canyon)
Wildlife too! Deer . Wild horses . Western Tanagers. Raccoons and !
I've been accused, side eyed, slandered, interrogated, and threatened.
A kid even tried to rob me. Sometimes, people just act toxic to get their way. It never works.
Repairing bikes never gets old. There's always something new no matter how old it is. .shine derailleur, for example.
And sometimes you work on the ancestor of a prototype that you demolished when a drunk driver ran you down!
Crazy World!
I've been running and working on mtb disc brakes since 1998. I think this is the best looking set of brakes ever made!

Nice fall colors and people passing by on the highway with no idea of the fun they are missing out on.
Nice ride with Top of
The second shot shows the grade of Elden road. It's brutal and unrelenting!
Road trip time again! Flagstaff is nice this time of year. Went back to do the old classic from 30 years ago.
Buffalo Park (used to be from home) , lower Oldham, up elden road (mostly 11 percent grade grunt), sunset trail (used to be smooth through thick forest now it's gnarly and rocky through burnout.
By the time I hit the brookbank fork I was beat, so I skipped lower sunset, schultz creek and rocky ridge. Took upper and lower brookbank instead. It's been rerouted and was pretty long.
Lower brookbank is super steep switchies!
Lowell observatory is in the far back of the 3rd pic. Elden road is in a few shots. Pictures never look as steep as reality.
So many pics have to do two posts. 4 hour ride and I was cooked!
Nice colors in the mountains today!
Trying to do this loop for a couple weeks but weather got in the way.
Second try forgot the map in the car and turned back instead of getting lost.
Third time was a charm!
canyon road to 13 to to 12 to to 549 to to to .
mini loop. All the way around
Losing a seatpost quick release in the middle of pipeline probably made for a bad day! I've got it at the shop if you recognize it!
The truck isn't that nice. But those rims must've been sweet!
When I started the shop I meant to post bikes I worked on. Then I got busy and forget to take pics.
So here's a dump of random bikes...
I have never seen this fruit before. Is it edible?

Looking at SanFran peaks...dropping into Jedi! That one is STEEEP!
Hard to find due to logging right now, I thought I was gonna spend a night in the woods.
