SOLEMNITY OF THE ANNUNCIATION We will celebrate our parish feast day of the Annunciation on Thursday, March 25th with two Masses–8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Come and celebrate the day that Mary’s yes turned the tide of the world’s history from sin to grace as Mary conceived the Savior. The Incarnation of the Word took place at the Annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel to Mary and is the mystery of the Word being made flesh, who is Jesus Christ, the God-man, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity and the Son of Mary. We rejoice with gladness that God chose to dwell among us by becoming one with us through the yes of his Handmaid, the Blessed Virgin Mary, who became the Mother of God at the Annunciation. Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man and blessed be the Mother of God, Mary most holy!
