Sol Housing, formerly known as the Greater Albuquerque Housing Partnership (GAHP), is an amazing not-for-profit organization here in . They specialize in the planning, design, construction, and management of multi-family housing communities that are affordable, creating beautiful, stable, comfortable environments where residents don’t just survive, but flourish 🌱. They approached us to help peel back the layers, articulate their core values, and gain insight into their identity and public perception. This all led to developing a new name and brand identity - never an easy process - but we definitely had fun working together 😊. The new name and logo evoke the warmth, light, and hope that Sol Housing brings to the community, symbolizing the comfort and security of home ownership 🏡.

Turning to the visual representation of these values, the logo design (with a little wink 😉) draws inspiration from clay sun decorations commonly found on porches of homes in New Mexico. At the center of the sun, the friendly face symbolizes the organization's dedication to creating not just physical structures but also nurturing environments that encourage human connection and prioritize the well-being and happiness of the people who live and work in our communities.

The chosen design was by our talented Jacobo De la Rosa, who hails from Ciudad Juárez, holds a BA in Graphic Design from the University of Texas, and now contributes his expertise here in at Ripe; he brings fun, boldness, humor, and valuable skills to our team.

From concept to reality! 😍 Seeing our year-long brand building journey with American Home Furniture and Mattress come to life is beyond rewarding. It’s even more special for me personally. When I first moved to ABQ in 1994, I had just $200 to my name and didn’t know a soul. My first job was with American Home, which makes this feel like a fantastic full-circle.

We designed this branding system a while ago but seeing it now in its large-scale glory – facing the world from the façade of their new, custom-built flagship store – is very special. Had a blast at the official opening and ribbon cutting, last night. This company has been at the heart of the community for over 80 years, and now, as they look to the future, we are tickled pink to be a part of their journey.

Spotlight on the for ya'll! After years in the healthcare industry, the owner – Tamara – decided to give it up and follow her true passion and longtime side gig - pottery. She opened a school in offering a variety of pottery classes and instantly had a waiting list of students. The branding incorporates Tamara's strong mid-century modern design sensibility and color palette. The logo represents a top view of the potter’s wheel in action. Clay. Olé!

It's not October yet but what can I say... we're overachievers. Celebrating another success with the new can design for this delicious which is Marble Brewery's famous Bavarian inspired Oktoberfest lager. Meet Hans and Heidi, the couple on the can.😍 Don't sleep on this one, it's our favorite Oktoberfest lager in , and that's saying something! 🍻🇩🇪❤️

Hey! Get yourself over to the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum to see the Canopy of Color exhibit, which is the first-ever long-term exhibition about 's ! Probably the largest single project we've ever worked on. It was a ton of work but it turned out beautiful plus it's interesting, informative and interactive too, of course. Huge thanks to all who worked on this ambitious project: design team; Thomas Tomlinson and Masterminds Studios. The specialists; Nan Masland, Dr. Lynne Newton, and Rebecca Prinster... plus others. Best team ever! We applaud and thank you! 👏🏼🙏🏼❤️

Downtown vibe strong tonight. Much love and respect to all the vendors, business owners, managers and staff who work so hard to bring to life on First Friday ABQartwalk and daily for our community. The challenges are real but the determination and collective love of outweighs it all. We moved to in 1994 and downtown became our home on Day 1 and we're still here today. Living, working, walking, raising kids, doing business.... and all that entails. Downtown Books and Beans Curious Toast, OT Circus, El Rey Albuquerque, Launchpad, Oni Abq Red Door Brewing Company, Humble Coffee, 505 Central, KiMo Theatre, Anodyne and everyone else involved. Keep on doing what you're doing, coz what you're doing is what we need.

An unexpected treat! Community champion, personal friend and owner of Rude Boy Cookies Mike Silva, just stopped by to see what condition our condition was in, and just in case... he arrived bearing delicious, fresh-baked cookies. Honestly, whose day isn't improved by that? Check out the second pic, it shows the results of a new technology investment where fine detail art, graphics (logos) and text can be printed on cookies. The possibilities are endless!

This gem of a cover was a put out as a bonus disc from a 1993 release which consisted of Motown re-dos. The band members were James Jamerson Jr., Melvin Ragin, David T. Walker, James Gadson, Phil Upchurch and the incredible Ali ’Ollie’ Woodson on vocals. What a beauty. Pure class. Merry Christmas, baby, to you and yours, from us and ours.

Perfect timing. The and new branding for the launched at the same time. Concept: a museum that thinks in balloons. Dig deep, aim high.

We've been hard at work with a wonderful team of designers, fabricators and tech experts on the Up, Up, & Away exhibition at the ABQ Sun Port for the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. Perfect timing for all the enthusiasts who will be visiting in the next month. This was a great project to be involved in, and we’re honored to be a part of it. Thanks to Thomas Tomlinson, Electric Playhouse, León Mitchell Powell, Nan Masland, Lynne Newton, and the rest of the team for all the hard work, creativity and problem solving.

Spotted this handsome dude (if you know him, please tag) at a local spot, sporting two Ripe logos on his water bottle. We can't say if our logos make his water taste better, but seeing this simple display sure left a sweet taste for us.

13-year old Bennie Hargrove died a hero at Washington Middle School on Friday. He confronted a bully and was shot 5 times. Please help his family through this tragedy.
