✨Juneteenth is a reminder to all that “Nobody’s free until everybody’s free” (Fannie Lou Hamer).

✨On January 1, 1863, many enslaved and free African Americans awaited the news of the Emancipation Proclamation, which declared that enslaved people in Confederate states were legally free. Although declared free, many were still left in the dark in Confederate territory. In the western Confederate state of Texas, these enslaved people would not be free until years later.

✨June 19, 1865, marks the day when some 2,000 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas. This army announced to more than 250,000 enslaved Black people in the state that they were free by executive decree.

“Juneteenth marks our country’s second independence day. Although it has long been celebrated in the African American community, this monumental event remains largely unknown to most Americans” (Smithsonian).💫

⚡️Unlike Compression Socks that provide static compression; compression boots use intermittent compression, mechanically inflating and deflating each segment of the sleeve in a rotating sequence to actively propel blood from the foot and ankle back up the leg.

The compression increases circulation and blood which allows for more oxygen and nutrients to get to the muscles. This helps repair damaged muscle fibers for better recovery after a workout. When you improve your recovery this may encourage you to train harder. The boots all reduce soreness and swelling which is always beneficial.
