When a preschooler comes to school with a donut for the custodian, and asks him to have breakfast with him- it warms your heart. ❤️ Love the connections our preschoolers get to make with the church staff!

We have been so lucky to have Marilyn safely transport some of our preschoolers to and from school for so many years. Marilyn-we will miss you!!! Congratulations on your retirement!! Thank you Rainbow Rider.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Community Preschool!!

Oral language. Social skills. Turn taking. Communication. All of these skills are the center of our daily activities at Community Preschool. Meet Mrs Maier, she has been with our preschool for over 17 years. She loves playing games and creating fun, interactive stories with all her kiddos.

Community Preschool reminds kiddos every day that preschool is for practicing! Children need to have the chance to explore manipulatives in different ways and many times. Mrs Rach leads by example showing the children that she continues to practice at new skills and keeps trying!! You can do it Mrs Rach.

Mrs. Carstensen has been an Assistant Teacher with Community Preschool for seven years. She loves creative art and strives to give the children a positive and sometimes messy creative art experience. At Community Preschool we concentrate on the process of art and not the product. The children come up with the most fabulous ideas when exploring art materials.

As Registration for the 2024-2025 preschool year approaches the end of January, we would like to introduce our teachers. Mrs. Schueler has been in preschool for 33 years!! She just never graduates with her students in May each year. Mrs. Schueler enjoys reading stories with her kiddos.

We were excited that the preschoolers (and teachers) got to see the ducklings this year. There were 8 ducklings.

Thank you SO much KayCee and Lyla for bringing all fish, salamanders, frogs and turtles! The kids and teachers loved it. KayCee is wonderful at explaining all the fun details so the kids could understand.

We sure are having fun with our Lunch Bunch volunteers!! Thank you to all the volunteers from First Lutheran Church, Alexandria, MN for coming in and spending time with our kids and helping out at lunch time. You are greatly appreciated.

As the stable was waiting to be put away it became shelter for yet another baby to be born. Looks like our annual tenant found a safe place to nest! 🪹 🦆
