Maria is oh so helpful at helping us pack online orders. Maybe we should get her a childless cat shirt….

Maria is 9 years old and has been through a lot. She lost her home (twice) and was returned after two days in another home. She is also the only cat we had to drive out of state to rescue a second time but we love her and she deserves a loving forever home.

She started out as an aggressive, sassy mess but she is a loving, albeit particular lady. She needs an experienced cat owner that understands she may not always want pets or attention, but when she does, she is the biggest baby. She is fine with other cats that give her space but also ok on her own.

She recently had a dental (only few teef left) and has perfect bloodwork. She has some knee arthritis which is kept in check with joint health treats and/or solensia injections. Will she smack you sometimes? Yes. Does she squat when she pees? No. Will she love you forever? YES!

MP's big week continues! We are very excited for all of our new families! On our fourth anniversary, we are excited to announce we have started a nonprofit arm called Marlee’s Misfits in honor of our sweet girl who we lost too soon.

Our mission will be similar to what has always been: to house rescue cats that have been overlooked and to find them purrfect forever homes.

Marlees Misfits will primarily be a fund for seniors, cats with special needs, and medical emergencies. We will be supporting other nonprofits cat rescues and shelters to ensure each cat gets the care they need, and hopefully move them here to be adopted! It will also help us pay for cat supplies we always need!

Any donations made to Mount Purrnon will go into the nonprofit fund. That also means donations are now tax-deductible. Donations can be made via our website, PayPal or Venmo . We also have our Amazon Wishlist link in bio and on our website www.mtpurrnoncatcafe.com. We always need food and litter!

Kia was found in West Virginia with her kittens. Now that her kittens are all grown up, she is ready for a home of her own. She is playful and loving! She would love a home with a cat friend to hang out and play with. If your cat need a new friend, come meet Kia!
