It’s been a fantastic day at the Annual Louisiana Pregnancy Center Conference - La Belle Vie Gathering in Baton Rouge! 💌 We have heard from some incredible speakers, and more to come! We’ve also loved being with other amazing pregnancy center workers from across the state.

We also celebrated one of our staff members, Naomi, on her upcoming birthday! 🧁🎉

Today marks 6 years since Kimberly DeLoach joined our team! 🥳 In her years of being at Cenla Pregnancy Centers, she has filled many roles and supported many women throughout their pregnancy journeys. She recently received her Certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International which makes her one of the few in our community who currently has these credentials. She empowers our clients with education, a listening ear and compassion that sets her apart as a caregiver. We are blessed to have her!

✨ Can you tell us a little about yourself?
“I grew up as a Pastor's kid who was very involved in our efforts to support women facing unexpected pregnancies. My mom always emphasized the importance of supporting people's spiritual well-being, but not forgetting to meet their physical needs. She passionately set this example by starting a Pregnancy Center and Adoption Agency in Missouri. As I continued to get more involved in these ministries, and started my own Pregnancy Resource Group, I worked to connect with other Pregnancy Centers in our area and nationwide!”

✨ How did you first find out about Cenla Pregnancy Center?
“I found out about Cenla Pregnancy Center through a social media post and was amazed at how much they were doing for Women and families in the Cenla area!”

✨ Why do you support the pregnancy center in this way?
“I believe that this mission to empower and encourage women and families facing unexpected pregnancies, there needs to be an online presence because the search bar is one of the first places most women look when needing resources and support.”

The reality is that some women will experience postpartum depression. It is nothing to be ashamed of and it’s nothing to hide. You weren’t meant to do it alone, and there is support and resources for you. 💜

We are in need of size 3, 4, 5 and 6 diapers for our clients. Our support for mothers and babies continues through the first two years of the child’s life, which empowers mothers with continued education, resources, support and material items. Coupled with this continued service is the increased need for larger sized diapers as these precious babies grow. 👶🏻🫶🏽
