Mount Vernon Community Children’s Theatre is hiring paid, professional creative staff for its upcoming 2024-25 season. Two musicals are scheduled for the season; being performed in Alexandria just outside the Beltway. Director, Music Director, Choreographer and Stage Manager positions are open for experienced applicants.

Fall Musical – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (full-length, non-junior production). Auditions in late August; with performances the weekends of November 15 and 22. Cast size is approximately 45 actors; ages 8-18.

Spring Musical -Diary of a Wimpy Kid, based on the popular Jeff Kinney book series and the Off-Broadway musical. Rehearsal begins in January; with performance weekends March 28 and April 4. Cast size is approximately 45 actors; ages 8-18.
