🎨 The Tiny Art Show and Silent Auction will take place on Saturday, October 19, 12-3PM in the Community College of Beaver County Library during our big event, LIBRARYCON!

🐭 Preview Week will be October 14-19 during regular college library hours.

🐾 Canvases are free and will be available at every BCLS location on August 12- while supplies last.

🧀 Completed art is due back to your library (with completed registration form) by October 5th!

Make this the year you enter the 12th annual BBQ and Chilli Cookoff at Hopewell Park! This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday September 14th from 12-8pm. Whether you're a seasoned Backyard BBQ pro or a novice looking to showcase your skills, this event is for you! Better late than never. Started picking Pristine apples a while ago, but didn't have a chance to post. Pristines are an extremely early season apple that are sweet, but possess a significant level of tartness. It has a medium density flesh and a crispy citrus bite. The Pristine apple has a pale yellow flesh color, an excellent flavor and keeps well for an early variety. A relatively new apple, but quickly becoming a favorite for snacking. Also good for baking, the apple was developed by the Purdue, Rutgers, Illinois Co-Op and introduced in the 1990s. Related to the McIntosh and Starking Delicious apples.
