Sharing & Incorporating My Studies - SIMS

We've had several people ask how they can help, so here is the answer.

Volunteer - your time to program, events or committees.

Donations - our students learn, practice and complete projects using real tools and materials. Construction materials (wood, drywall, flooring, etc) and tools (drills, hammers, saw blades, etc)

Guest speaker - Stop in and meet the youth, tell them your story and encourage them along their journey. You can speak as much as you'd like!

Sponsor a student - Choose a student to sponsor their uniform, PPE, tools and materials. As a sponsor, you are invited to all events related to the program to show your support to your student.

Are you looking for a positive and interactive after school program for your high school student? Do they have interest in exploring construction or the trades?

Sharing & Incorporating My Studies (S.I.M.S.) after school program provides instruction and hands on application to those youth that are interested in learning a trade.

The program is offered to Beaver County high school students ages 14 and up. Three days a week from 4-6 pm they will participate in safety training,, classroom instruction and projects that allow them to build up their community through hands on application. Our original group remodeled the building that we are using for instruction!!

These two right here! While they drive each other crazy at times, they also know how to encourage, motivate and lead themselves and the rest of the group.

Mr. Prince showed up every day for program and even on days we didn't have program scheduled.

Mr. Anthony started the program unsure if he was cut out for construction and became one of the standouts in the program.
