Hopewell Viking Musicals

In honor of Nancy Miller, the faculty and staff of the Hopewell Area School District has created the Nancy Miller Scholarship for a student to attend Geneva College Musical Theatre Camp. Nancy inspired so many of her students to pursue their musical talents and this is one more way to carry on her legacy.
We are pleased to announce that the Innaugural Nancy Miller Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to rising senior, Alexander Schwartz. Alex is active in band, chorus, and musical and was very highly recommended by his camp group leaders for this award. Congratulations, Alex, and thank you to the entire district for providing this wonderful award.

For the last two weeks, 32 of our junior and high school students, along with several directors and alumni, participated in Geneva College Musical Theatre Camp. Featuring shows from the 60s and 70s, our campers took acting, voice, and dance classes while prepping performance numbers. We are so unbelievably proud of them. Just wait until you get to see them onstage again! Congrats to all our students!

It's time to seize the day, class of 2024! We are so proud of all your accomplishments on and offstage. Congratulations on your graduation tonight. We can't wait to see what's next.

Last night, some of our cast visited our friends at to see Elf the Musical. They say you're a cotton headed n***y muggins if you don't catch their last performance today at 230! Merry Christmas and Bravo to all!

We can't let this weekend go without showcasing the talents of our Assistant Choreographer and alumni Hannah Barkman. Hannah is a woman of many talents, a dancer, singer, actress, choreographer, and artist and she drew all of these. Our Cast used these drawings on stage as props and the drawings of our Katherine's were animated and projected during the show. We love that she's part of our team and that we get to show the world how talented she is. We love you / .art

On behalf of the entire cast, crew, orchestra, directors, and parents, we want to thank everyone who came out to support our production of Newsies this weekend. The support from friends, family, the school, our community mean the absolute world to us. Thank you.

The class of 2024 has taken their final bows. It's hard to believe we've closed the curtain on Newsies, but we can't wait to see all the amazing things ahead for these seniors. We are so proud of you!
