Collin and I (Sam) have put so much into Funky Picnic the last five years, including our time, savings and 401ks. We want to keep it going, but we are at the end of our financial abilities.

This economy has hit everyone hard this last year, and small businesses are no different. Our costs and interest rates have risen, while customer spending has fallen. All after barely surviving the financial difficulties of a pandemic.

Visit us for lunch or dinner. Pick up takeout for an easy night of beers, burgers and pizzas at home. Gather your coworkers for a happy hour outing. Come out for Trivia (Wednesdays), Music Bingo (Thursdays), Beer Yoga (11/4), or a Drag Show (11/11 & 11/24).

For better or for worse, we want to see your faces and swing for the fences. We love Fort Worth and and would like to keep serving you up great food, beers, cocktails and events for years to come!

All of their social media accounts related to the Austin location were removed, along with the webpage.

The news comes on the heels of the recent Thirsty Planet & Circle Brewing closures.
