Goodbye 2021, hello to #2022! We came out of the trenches together and we are still surviving. Let's leave all the bad stuff in the past and make this new year the best one of the 2020s yet!.... Please? It's a really low bar at this point. Anyone who jinxes it gets mandatory PT! As a reminder to all returning veterans, classes at #GVSU start again on the 10th, so enjoy the last week of your winter break! For veterans, college graduation is a HUGE DEAL. The VA reports that only 13 percent of Post-9/11 Veterans use their educational benefits. So for all of you seniors who pushed through that feeling like you didn't belong, for the late nights studying and transitioning to a whole new culture (in the midst of a pandemic!), a hearty congratulations from all of us at GVSU. President Mantella speaks for us all when she says, "We are so proud of you." Now take that education, combine it with your military experience and go out into the world and do great things!
