2017-2018 Tryout Information

With the loss against Windsor in the final game of our continued 3-game series, we are sad to say that our season has officially come to an end.

Thank you to all of our friends and family members who have assisted and cheered the team on throughout the entire fall and spring season, and a special thanks and congratulations to our graduating seniors.

It has truly been a pleasure having each and every one of you be a part of this team.

Your GVSU Lakers took 3 games this past weekend, against a great team from University of Toledo!

Our next series will be this upcoming Saturday, April 15th in Windsor. Game 1 will begin at 11a.m., game 2 will begin at 130p.m.

Hello Laker family and friends.

This upcoming weekend's opening series against Windsor had been canceled, due to rain.

Their coach is pushing for future makeup games for this series to be the weekend of April 29/30, which also happens to be commencement weekend for our graduating seniors. I have informed the coach as well as the league director that this weekend will not work, due to our graduating players, and the fact that we are not allowed to travel during finals week.

I apologize for any inconveniences that may arise from the cancelation this weekend, and will keep everyone updated as more information is presented to the team.

Sadly to say, tomorrow's games against Notre Dame have been canceled. The field was soaked from the rain storms that passed through and the facility did not want teams to play on it.

Opening season will be pushed back to the following weekend, against University of Windsor.
